Stainless Step-On 7 Gallon Waste Rceptacle by Safco — Quiet, Clean Waste Management Made Simple

Quiet, Clean Waste Management Made Simple

The stainless steel body gives the receptacle a clean, professional appearance, while its fingerprint-proof finish helps it stay presentable between routine cleanings. At 7 gallons, it offers useful capacity without requiring the footprint of a larger commercial container.

Clean Handling, Simplified Maintenance

Safco includes a rigid plastic liner with a built-in bag retainer. The liner helps support the receptacle’s shape and keeps the waste bag positioned inside the container, reducing the loose, untidy appearance that can occur when bags slip below a rim. For facility teams, that means a more controlled setup during bag changes and a neater presentation throughout the day.

Hands-free operation: The step-on pedal keeps routine disposal touch-free.
Quiet closure: The lid is designed to close quietly and avoid a disruptive snap-down effect.
Fingerprint-resistant surface: Stainless steel maintains a cleaner-looking appearance in visible areas.
Built-in bag control: The rigid plastic liner includes a bag retainer to help keep liners in place.
Practical capacity: The 7-gallon volume suits everyday waste without overwhelming compact interiors.

Designed for Professional Shared Spaces

This receptacle is a strong fit for workplaces, healthcare-adjacent administrative areas, hospitality settings, educational facilities, and other interiors where cleanliness and appearance matter. Its hands-free pedal is useful near sinks, counters, and food-service support areas, while the quiet lid makes it well suited to offices, reception areas, and other spaces where repeated noise can become a distraction.

The 14-inch depth, 14.5-inch width, and 20-inch height create a straightforward rectangular profile that can sit beneath counters or along a wall without demanding excessive floor space. Because the unit requires no assembly, it can be placed into service without adding installation work to a facilities task list.

What Sets the Safco 9686SS Apart

The Stainless Step-On 7 Gallon Receptacle, model 9686SS, avoids the look and feel of a purely utilitarian bin. Its metal construction and fingerprint-proof stainless steel finish make it suitable for locations where waste equipment remains visible to employees, visitors, or guests. At the same time, the pedal, quiet-close lid, and retained liner focus on the small operational details that shape the daily experience.

For buyers seeking a compact receptacle with a polished appearance and uncomplicated upkeep, Safco’s design offers a balanced solution: quiet when used, clean-looking between service intervals, and simple to manage as part of a regular waste routine.
