Bottom Line:  The Series 50 Metal Folding Chair from National Public Seating provides a far higher quality metal folding chair than box stores provide while at the same time matches those chairs in price.

Pros:  Welded seat back, powder-coated frame, U-shaped riveted cross braces versus spot welded braces, ten year warranty, stocked in four colors for quick shipment, waterfall front on seat, and glides are color coordinated with each finish.

Cons:  The Series 50 is a single cross brace system chair.

The Series 50 from NPS is a great choice for an entry level metal folding chair.  While the large “box” stores of our day often are seen as a source for entry level metal folding chairs, the Series 50 will greatly outperform those chairs while at the same time providing a solid chair warranty and additional features that “box” store chairs do not have.  The Series 50 provides a comfortable waterfall front seat and is a full-sized chair (versus chairs that narrower in order to save on raw material costs).  The Series 50 is available in the following finishes: Model #51 Beige, Model #52 Grey, Model #54 Charcoal Blue, and Model #510 Black.  A wide variety of storage options, chair trucks and dollys, are also available for the Series 50.
