Bottom Line: The Jubilee Church Chair from Comfortek Seating is a quality, no-frills, entry level church chair with a below $30.00 price-point.
Pros: Plywood seat and seat back, multiple steel cross-members, lumbar support, t-nut fasteners, fabric card pocket included, Cal 117 rated, 15 year warranty, standard ganging, stocked in five fabrics for quick shipment, ships fully assembled, and has a great price point.
Cons: No options can be added to the Jubilee Church Chair.
The Jubilee Church Chair is the first quality sub-$30.00 price-point church chair we have reviewed. The Jubilee was designed for churches needing a quality church chair in a 20″ width who were not interested in adding options or customizing fabrics and finishes. Therefore the Jubilee is mass-produced in five fabric choices only.
The Jubilee Church Chair, despite its low price, uses plywood in the seat and seat back, where other companies attempting to have a below $30.00 church chair will most commonly use particle board. The Jubilee Church chair also has a fabric card pocket included as a standard feature in addition to lumbar support, chair ganging, t-nut construction, and a legitimate warranty. The Jubilee also ships fully assembled unlike most church chairs at this price level that require significant assembly. While we would still believe the SS-7701 church chair would be a better choice for a few dollars more, the Jubilee does provide an especially affordable option for many churches.
