Example #1
Church Planter Jason is going to be “Portable”. He needs to store his seating in his trailer as efficiently as possible. From other church planters, Jason learns that many of them use the MityLite Swiftset Chair. Jason contacts us and shares he would like a quote on 225 of these chairs and 5 of the storage dollys. We will ask a few questions just to confirm this is a good fit for Jason, and then we will provide him a quote. If Jason moves forward with us, we process the order and communicate healthily with him until the order is completed.
Example #2
Lead Pastor Jeremy is in the middle of his first building project. His church has been in rented facilities for seven years and now they are building their own facility. Jeremy contacts us regarding the 300 chairs they need for their worship area. We will ask Jeremy several questions regarding his use pattern for these chairs and for this environment. Recommendations, sample chairs, fabric and finish selections, and so on will be provided as the choice of seating is always a major time-consumer for such a project. Then after the chair order is decided upon, during which we have built a great relationship with Jeremy, almost always we will assist with other church environments such as children’s and student ministries, commons area, café setting, welcome center, and on it goes. Sometimes we will work with each staff member in charge of a specific environment, or at times the Lead Pastor remains our point of contact throughout the project. Inevitably as the stress and demands of such a project tend to build as occupancy gets closer, our ability to relieve the furnishings stress becomes very valued.
Example #3
Executive Pastor Josh hears about Save Your Church Money from a fellow XP. Josh hears the name of our ministry and decides to check us out, but to do so cautiously as in his role he constantly deals with people/groups/companies trying to “sell” him something. I understand Josh being cautious as I faced the same reality for decades. Josh and I have a nice conversation that results in us realizing we have some common acquaintances. I provide Josh some examples of projects we have worked on and offer to provide references as needed. I may suggest Josh start slowly with SYCM and make a smaller purchase or two to be helpful for his own comfort level and to allow our ministry to demonstrate we are what we claim to be. Those initial purchases go wonderfully and as the years go by, Josh makes more and more purchases for the various campuses he has responsibility for. The months and years pass by quickly, and Josh reaches a point where working with SYCM simplifies his duties and is the first counsel he seeks as furnishing needs surface!
The Most Important Example
YOU hear about SYCM and decide to contact us. You receive a prompt response, you experience a non-aggressive approach, and you hopefully find yourself enjoying the interaction. We ask questions to learn about your ministry, your specific needs, and your environments. And we continue down the road of this new relationship as it unfolds. This happens every day and we hope it will happen with your church as well!
